Celebrated my mother in law's birthday here with a group of 10 (including a rambunctious toddler :)). We were seated around one teppanyaki grill table. The food was great and satisfied our big group of varied tastes and dietary preferences. The cook kept track of our requests and made everything to our liking. It was nice to eat the food right off the grill. Reservations highly recommended; they helped our group of 10 with timely seating. We were not able to be seated until everyone in our party arrived. There was a longer bit of a wait once we were seated before our drink orders were taken. Parking lot is super small. We dined on a Sunday with our reservation at 5:30pm.

I came here for Mother's Day and it's a Hibachi style place. I was told reserve ahead of time but that could be because of Mother's Day. There's a big selection of food choices. Plus there is a bar inside as well. I ended up buying off the lunch menu. New York Steak with Sesame Chicken and Karaage Chicken. Steak and Sesame Chicken was good. As well as the Karaage Chicken as well. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

Been here countless of times, but never gave it a review so I guess it's time! Shogun is a good alternative for Benihana. Some would say that it's better than Benihana since it's not as commercialized. I honestly think they are about the same... Only difference is the price. While Shogun is still pretty pricey, it's not nearly as pricey as Benihana & not as crowded. We popped in for a Friday night dinner & the restaurant was full, but not overly crowded. You have to CALL to get a reservation, so be aware of that. There are plenty of parking spaces at the BACK of the restaurant, so don't feel discouraged when you see the front lot full. There is also street parking. The service we've received here has been great. No complaints! The food here is also very, very good. One thing I will say that Benihana does better is their chicken fried rice. It's not as flavorful here, but it gets the job done. The pricing is as follows as of Feb 9, 2024: Gyoza (6 pcs) $9.50 Ribeye & Shrimp $42 Filet (mignon) & chicken $40 Upgrade to fried rice: $4 The meals we've had here were also really great. No complaints there! The show is always cool to see, but let's get some new tricks up in there. Also, they need a revamp. The place doesn't exude "fancy" like Benihana does. New flooring/carpeting would most likely do the trick. Other than that, Shogun is a great place to dine w/friends and family!

The restaurant staff was very welcoming and attentive. The teppan chef was interactive and fun. This teppanyaki grill restaurant is bright, spacious and clean. Some items like their sushi did take longer than normal to make. However the sushi rolls were delicious. We also ordered teppanyaki combo lunches. We loved the fried rice, steak and shrimp. It was all very delicious. Overall good restaurant

We came just before the end of Lunch (3pm). Our kids really wanted to go to a place like Shoguns... we were celebrating and decided to treat them. They really loved it (as you can see). The food and service were great! Our server and cook did an amazing job. When drinks were dry, our server came by and filled them up. Our cook kept the kids' attention with tricks and light conversation. It was a great afternoon experience. We had the sashimi and calamari for appetizers. The kids both did Steak, with steamed rice, and Miso. The wife and I both did Fillet Mignon, with Salads. She went with shrimp and steamed rice for her sides. I went with scallops and fried rice. Everything was delicious! The fillet Mignon was very tender and pretty much melted in your mouth. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas... Buddha was wearing a Santa Hat, a Samurai suit of armor was decorated in Christmas ornaments, and there were other decorations. The place is showing some age... Still a nice place to go out to. Five stars for service and food.

Happy hour is great here! Good food for the price, staff behind the bar is friendly. You can sit at the bar or in the main dining area for the whole Teppan experience. There is more parking in the back, should you have issues finding a spot in the front.
